Juniors and Seniors!
It is that time again! Registration is now open for SAT School Day! SAT School Day will be hosted at Gilmer High School on Thursday, Oct. 23rd, allowing 11th-12th grade students to take the SAT during a regular day at GHS. Students test in a place they know—better rested and prepared. You don't have to worry about locating or getting your child to a testing site—they test at their own school during regular school hours.
Registration and fee payment of $37 through My Payments Plus is required.
Registration is open on My Payments Plus and can be accessed using the link or QR code below. Registration will close Fri., Sept. 5, 2025 to provide time for tests to be ordered.
Because the SAT is already offered at a reduced rate, waivers may NOT be used for SAT school day.
HOW SHOULD STUDENTS PREPARE FOR THE TEST?
The best way students can prepare is by taking challenging courses and becoming familiar with the test and its format. Students should review the SAT School Day Student Guide, along with a practice test, to better understand the directions and become familiar with the types of questions on the test. Students can go to satpractice.org for free personalized practice based on their prior test results (such as PSAT/NMSQT®) or diagnostic tools provided through Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy®.
